She is particularly interested in investigating potential mechanisms, such as epigenetic modifications, underlying these associations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"parent-mental-health-and-the-early-childhood-environment\">The early environment and neurodevelopment: moving towards an exposomics approach<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. England-Mason is broadly interested in variety of environmental drivers of neurodevelopmental outcomes. Her research is moving toward an \u2018exposomics\u2019 approach, and she is particularly interested in the chemical exposome. As her research program expands, she aims to consider a range of environmental influences &#8211; such as environmental chemicals, nutrients, lifestyle factors, and mental health.
